Olfactive identity design · Barcelona & Paris

The scent people remember before they remember your name.

We compose signature fragrances for hotels, maisons and brands, and write the rules for how they live in a room, a product and a box.

Start a brief
extrait /ɛks.tʁɛ/ n.
In perfumery, the most concentrated form of a fragrance: 20 to 40% aromatic compounds. The least diluted version of an idea.

A logo is seen in a second and forgotten in a minute. A scent is stored in the same part of the brain as memory and emotion. We design that part of your brand with the same rigour as the rest.

Three things we design, each one dipped and smelled on paper first.

Every project starts on a mouillette, the paper blotter perfumers use to judge a formula as it opens and dries down.

Anatomy of a signature

A fragrance is a sequence, not a single smell.

Top notes greet a guest at the door. Heart notes carry the conversation. Base notes are what stays on a coat after they leave. Drag the time on the blotter to watch this formula dry down.

Fresh and bright on arrival: bergamot and pepper are what a guest notices in the first steps through the door.

Four stages, from a conversation to a formula you own.

You keep the formula and the rights to it. We stay on to produce it, or hand it to your manufacturer with the full technical file.
